Wir alle haben das doch schon mal gehört: „Zocken macht aggressiv und krank“
– das sollen Studien bewiesen haben.
Eine neue Studie sagt allerdings aus,
dass das Spielen sogar dabei hilft,
ein besserer Mensch und kreativ zu werden. Genaueres haben wir für euch zusammengefasst.
Erinnert ihr euch noch daran, als die WHO World Health Organisation im Jahr Videospiele zum Staatsfeind Nr. erklärte,
indem sie Spielsucht als psychische Krankheit anerkannten?
Nur ein Jahr später hat sich das allerdings geändert,
nachdem dieselben Leute Anfang des Jahres dazu rieten,
aufgrund der COVID--Pandemie zu Hause zu bleiben und zu zocken.
Generell wurde das Spielen seit Jahren von schlechten Vorurteilen begleitet,
eine neue Studie vom National Literacy Trust in Großbritannien zeigt nun allerdings,
dass das Spielen von Videospielen nicht nur die Lesegewohnheit junger Menschen direkt beeinflusst,
sondern sich ihr allgemeines psychisches Wohlbefinden verbessert hat.
Ein Teil der Umfrage wurde zwischen Mai und Juni mit Kindern,
Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen,
gemeinsam mit ihren Eltern durchgeführt.
Die Studie ergab, dass von % der Teilnehmer,
die Videospiele spielen,
„einmal im Monat Materialien über Videospiele lesen“.
Zu diesem Material gehören Rezensionen,
Blog-Updates,
Bücher,
Fan-Fiction und In-Game-Kommunikation,
die alle in direktem Zusammenhang mit dem von ihnen gespielten Spiel stehen.
- Aber das ist noch nicht alles.

- wurden auch dazu inspiriert,
- eigene Inhalte in Bezug auf Videospiele zu erstellen,
- einschließlich der Erstellung eigener spielbezogener Skripte,

- Fan-Fiction und Rezensionen.
Darüber hinaus ergab die Untersuchung,
dass das Spielen von Videospielen das Potenzial hat,
das Einfühlungsvermögen junger Menschen zu steigern und ihre psychische Gesundheit zu fördern.

LINKÖPING, Sweden, Aug., PRNewswire -- International medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra STO:
SECT B has signed a contract for a region-wide multimedia archive as a cloud service with SWASH,
a British consortium of NHS trusts.
It is the second contract between Sectra and SWASH this year and is expected to advance how hospitals share and access important diagnostic imaging.
A new shared multimedia archive will also allow the trusts to accelerate ambitions for initiatives including artificial intelligence.
SWASH includes the NHS trusts:
Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust,
Isle of Wight NHS Trust,
Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust,
Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.
